In this mouthwatering blizzard, creamy banana ice cream meets irresistible brownie bites. Need I say more? This is so good, I have made it the past three days in a row and plan on having it again this afternoon. And maybe tomorrow, and the day after that. Winter doesn’t stop my ice cream cravings, and when that ice cream is made by blending a frozen banana with unsweetened almond milk and a splash of vanilla before stirring in raw brownie pieces, I can indulge guilt-free 🙂
The idea for this blizzard came from my love of these irresistible raw brownies. I have made countless batches in the past two weeks, and while there is certainly nothing wrong with eating them plain, I started thinking of other ways to enjoy these decedent chocolate treats. Naturally I decided pairing them with ice cream was the way to go.
The combination of blended frozen banana, almond milk, and vanilla extract makes a creamy, soft-serve ice cream that is delicious and super easy to make. Mixed with some brownie chunks, it tastes like a frosty chocolate covered banana explosion in your mouth! Once you’ve tried this blizzard, you will understand my obsession.
